Location
The hotel is located in the heart of the city center, along the financial and diplomatic district, facing the Hai He River. It is with easy walking distance of the shopping areas around Nanjing Road, and a few minute drive to the Tianjin International exhibition center and the Railway station.

Most of the rooms are medium in size while some are small. They are modern in style and kept in very good condition. All rooms are decorated in warm color and equipped with modern facilities and private bathrooms.

General
The hotel is a great 4 star old colonial hotel. It is built overlooking the river and has housed many visiting notables, including US President Herbert Hoover. Although expanded in 1924 and 1987, this hotel is still a place for people who like history. The attractive old building is still an impressive sight, so are the English plaques on the walls and the stunning lobby mural.
